Day 2 MILAN Follow your Local Guide for a walking tour to visit the Piazza Duomo with its magnificent Gothic cathedral, the glass-domed Galleria with time on your own for lunch and shopping. Then continue to Santa Maria Delle Grazie to view the Leonardo Di Vinci painting of The Last Supper. This afternoon, a real treat as you hop aboard a historic tram and head to Milan’s trendy Navigli Distrcit, home to Venetian-style canals, a rich, bohemian atmosphere, and some of Milan’s tastiest foods! A Local Guide will escort you during the discovery of the trendiest area of the city as you embark on a tasting. (Breakfast)
Day 3 MILAN – PARMA Travel today to the Parma area. Your guided sightseeing of the city will focus on the Romanesque cathedral, the bell tower, and the octagonal Baptistry, made of pink Verona marble. Later, fully immerse yourself in Old World charm as you experience unsurpassed flavors during a unique dinner excursion in the peaceful Italian countryside to an atmospheric restaurant in an old farmhouse. Here, an expert chef will introduce you to the fine art of pasta-making, and will teach you how to make it the traditional way! Then, sample authentic local dishes, including cured meats and Parma ham, two types of pasta, and dessert. An unforgettable experience! (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 7 FLORENCE – CINQUE TERRE – RAPALLO A scenic day! Drive to La Spezia on the Mediterranean Coast for an exciting excursion to Cinque Terre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, including a boat ride (weather permitting) with a Local Guide. The name dates back to the 15th century and is derived from five medieval little villages standing on stony spurs along five miles of the rocky coastline: Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza, and Monterosso. From here, enjoy a train ride to the beautiful seaside resort of Rapallo. (Breakfast)

Day 9 RAPALLO – GABIANO – TURIN Enter the Langhe area and drive through the vineyards to Gabiano, where a wine tasting, followed by lunch, awaits at Castello di Gabiano. Continue to Turin, capital of Piedmont and birthplace of the Fiat automobile. This evening enjoy an orientation of the beautiful town of Turin. It will show its best when all the lights will shine into the dark. (Breakfast, Lunch)
Day 10 TURIN Admire the amazing 548-foot-high Mole Antonelliana, symbol of Turin, during your guided sightseeing, and walk through the historic center to visit the Cathedral and the Chapel that houses the Holy Shroud. After lunch on your own, immerse yourself in the royal wonders of Turin and experience the unique tastes of the Piedmont region on this marvelous guided excursion. Led by an expert guide, begin with an inside visit of the Royal Palace, built by the House of Savoy in the 16th century; the visit includes the State Apartments, the Armory. Then, learn how Turin has been famous since the 18th century for its patisserie, confectionery, and chocolate treats as you step into the historic Palazzo Madama’s Elegant Cafe and enjoy an authentic “fare merenda,” a sweet snack between lunch and dinner. Day 5 PARMA – MODENA – SAN GIMIGNANO – FLORENCE Depart Parma for Florence, with stops in both Modena and San Gimignano. In Modena, in Modena, enjoy a balsamic vinegar tasting, and learn all about this traditional Italian product. Then visit hilltop San Gimignano, the most picturesque of Italy’s perfectly preserved medieval towns with its towers and encircling walls. Enjoy a wine tour and group dinner at an organic agriturismo in the countryside before traveling to Florence, “Cradle of the Renaissance” for your two night stay. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 11 TURIN – ASTI – LAKE COMO After a leisurely morning, we take off, first with a stop Asti. Take time here to stroll, enjoy a meal or get in any last minute shopping. Then continue north to Lake Como. A guided local walking tour will take you past ancient Roman highlights including the cathedral and the San Fedele Church. Afterwards enjoy time to explore the city center of medieval streets and grab a bit to eat before continuing to your hotel. (Breakfast)
Day 12 LAKE COMO. EXCURSION TO BELLAGIO Today we head to the lake for a hydrofoil cruise with stops at Lago di Como and the historic and lively town of Bellagio. Have time to explore at your leisure and to grab a bite before your return to your hotel. This evening, gather together with your fellow travelers to enjoy a farewell dinner with views of the lake and reminisce about the success of your adventure. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 13 LAKE COMO – DEPARTURE FROM MILAN After breakfast, we say arrivederci as your Italian vacation comes to an end. A group transfer is provided to the airport for your journey home. (Breakfast)
